BANS TECHNICAL DIVING
Bans Technical Diving Koh Tao Thailand is the technical diving division of the largest recreational diving operator in the world - Ban's PADI/DSAT 5-Star Career Development Center Koh Tao Thailand. Bans Technical Diving Koh Tao was launched to respond to a growing interest in technical deep diving, mixed gas diving and overhead environments. Some of our most popular tech diver courses are Tec Deep, Tec 40, Tec 45, Tec 50, PADI Cavern, TDI Intro Cave, TDI Full Cave and Tec Trimix. Being a tech instructor training facility we feel no technical internship would be complete without technical operations courses like BSAC Compressor Operator, PADI Advanced Equipment, DSAT Tec Gas Blender, PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider and more.
As one of the largest Instructor Development Centers in the world we have been teaching PADI IDCs since 1998, we are proud to have trained over 3000 Instructors. Our programs have covered the entire range from Open Water Scuba Instructors, preparation courses for PADI Course Directors and Tech Instructors in Thailand.
Bans Technical Diving Koh Tao offers a wide choice of dive sites during the training. We dive local sites around Koh Tao like Chumphon (Whale sharks and bull sharks 40m+), Sam Ram and Sail Rock (48m+), Unicorn (Wreck northeast of Koh Tao 50m) plus many other wrecks around the Gulf of Thailand. For these dives we have 4 large diving boats (owned by Bans Diving and used exclusively by Bans Diving and Technical Diving).
We also have portable compressors which we bring to National Parks around Thailand where we explore caverns and caves. Last year we found loads of new caves in Khao Sok and Khanchanburi. We offer Cavern and Cave Courses through TDI and DSAT. We use trucks to drive to the national parks bringing all our own technical gear and compressors. Long tail boats are the boat of choice while exploring the huge reservoirs in both the south and north of Thailand. Krabi is another very interesting area in the future for extreme cave diving.
Look into our very unique Technical Diving Instructor Internship Programs that let you train and dive with us over 2 months period and have the opportunity to become an instructor in many technical diving areas. Our internship programs can include DSAT Tec Deep, DSAT Tec Trimix, DSAT Gas Blender and much more.
